Freshly published papers!
We have been missing for a while but we are back with great news:
1) Global Ecology and Biogeography published two of our articles investigating the drivers of alpine vascular plant richness in European mountains and at the global scale;
2) Our analysis of the global functional variation in alpine vegetation has been published in the Journal of Vegetation Science's special issue 'Macroecology of Vegetation'.
Go check them out in the publications section!
Global seed germination spectrum of alpine plants
New project funded
A new project entitled "Seed ecological spectrum of alpine plant communities - SEEDALP" has been funded by the Spanish Science Agency to Borja Jiménez-Alfaro for the next four years. The project will link seed trait ecology with community ecology along topographic gradients, using relict vegetation of the Cantabrian Mountains as the study system. A new Ph.D. student will join the team in spring 2021.
